About Smoky Rose

During his career in the Air Force, Josh discovered a passion for wine and Jodi has always loved hosting parties (where there was always wine).  Put the two together and a winery was born!  Having shared so many wine vacations together, it seemed only natural that Josh’s sister Amy, a wine enthusiast and fellow serviceman in the Marine Corps, decided to join in the adventure.  The name itself, Smoky Rose Cellars, is an homage to their kids…Smoky (their dog) and Laurelai Rose (their daughter).

About The Land

Smoky Rose Cellars is located in the beautiful Walla Walla Valley AVA, where the wonderful grape-growing climate produces succulent jewels on the vine. We source grapes from a variety of amazing vineyards in Walla Walla Valley so we can give you the truest Walla Walla experience.

About The Wines

Josh is a huge fan of Old World winemaking techniques and each vintage reflects the care and thoughtfulness taken by winemakers of the past.  From classic Chardonnay and Cabernet Sauvignon to elegant Syrah, we let the grape speak for itself…allowing us to give you the truest expression of each varietal.
