Goose Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery

Goose Ridge Estate Vineyard & Winery

Goose Ridge Estate Vineyard and Winery crafts exquisite wines from its estate vineyards based on a commitment to ‘Family Owned, Estate Grown.”

Goose Ridge was founded in 1999 by the Monson family, which has farmed in Washington’s Columbia Valley since the early 1900’s. Since then, Goose Ridge has grown into one of the state’s largest producers and operates the largest contiguous estate vineyard in Washington State, a stunning 2,000-acre site adjacent to the Red Mountain AVA and located within five miles of The Lodge at Columbia Point.

Under the guidance of head winemaker Andrew Wilson and his team, Goose Ridge produces wines from its estate vineyards under four different labels – Stonecap, Tall Sage, g3 and its flagship brand, Goose Ridge Estate.  All wines are made from estate grapes grown specifically for Goose Ridge’s four brands.

Goose Ridge recently became the first winery in Washington with four stand-alone tasting rooms – Woodinville, Richland, Leavenworth and downtown Walla Walla.

While each tasting room has its personality, they all share common qualities that invite visitors to relax and enjoy the Goose Ridge experience –table service for tastings, a varied selection of outstanding wines paired with light bites prepared on site, and wide selection of unique merchandise, all in comfortable settings.

For guests looking for a break from wine tasting, Goose Ridge also has its own hard cider available on tap for glass pours and growler fills in all four tasting rooms. The cider, pressed from apples grown in Monson family orchards, comes in traditional and spiced pecan flavors.

While you’re staying at The Lodge at Columbia Point, we invite you to visit our beautiful Richland tasting room for a leisurely afternoon of wine and cider tasting on the patio overlooking our estate vineyards. The Richland tasting room is an easy, 10-minute drive from The Lodge at Columbia Point.

Goose Ridge is an honest reflection of the Monson family’s shared vision, stewardship of the land and a commitment to artisan winemaking.  For information, please visit www.gooseridge.com.
