From an invisible element emerges a force of nature that breathes life into the Cabernet Sauvignon of Horse Heaven Hills. The persistent wind that combs across the desert landscape sets this place apart from any other winegrowing region in Washington State, and brings an essence of balance, structure and elegance.

Horse Heaven Hills—this remote corner of the world is the birthplace of many prestigious, award-winning wines. Since the AVA was established in 2005, it has received increasing renown as a distinguished Cabernet Sauvignon-producing region.

In 2005, the site for Double Canyon Vineyard was selected with the goal of creating estate-grown wines with complexity and distinction. We planted 90 acres of vines on our property in the heart of the appellation to Cabernet Sauvignon, Syrah, Merlot, Malbec Petit Verdot and Cabernet Franc in 2007.

Double Canyon, named for two ravines that run through the property, produces estate-grown wines that express the individuality of the vineyard in this distinctive windswept, desert appellation. Our extraordinary parcel of land enables us to produce wines of exceptional quality, vintage after vintage.
